The Fight
Why do I fight the inevitable?
The dreams, the nervousness, and the thoughts…
There’s nothing I can do to stop them.
The fear, the anxiety, and the shakiness.
What am I to do with these?
If I let my guard down they will consume me, but if I keep my guard up I won't have any love towards me.
The guilt takes over me as I wish to say what needs to be said,
What am I to do?
Why do I fight?
