The Insults
The insults
They pour out of that whole in your face
Like a waterfall
You have no remorse
And it's because of you
That I've found myself sobbing in the guidance counselor's office
But I'm not the only one
There are many hurt souls
Walking around with scars on their beaten hearts
Covered in calluses from the amount of healing it has endured
Frowns carved in their faces
Replacing the trace of smiles that once were
But their past presence can barely be seen
And it's because of you
You beast, you monster
Clawing at the feelings of those around you
Until they would rather feel nothing at all
You're a spider
Spinning webs of depression
Your victims helpless insects
You have no remorse
As the insults pour out
Like a waterfall
