Hidden
Once you get past the laughter and smiles
There is a secret person hiding inside
One full of doubt and regrets
Burrowed deep trying to hide
Blame my parents for this mess
Feelings are the hardest part
Overcoming my insecurities
And opening my heart
I have so much to give
But no way to express it
I end up messing everything up
Not being able to control it one bit
I carry on day by day
Hoping to forget the past
But some things are hard to get over
Especially when life is moving so fast
