~From The Diary of Juliet
To be, or not to be- tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow
To compare thee to a summer’s day,
Halloo thy name to a babbling brook,
To speak it trippingly on the tongue.
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo!
The course of true love ne’er did run smooth!
In thou, I see the glowing of such fire
That hath not been dreamed of in thy philosophy!
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks-
There are more things in heaven and earth
Than could be dreamt of!
If music be the food of love, play on.
Give me excess of it, that surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken and so die.
That strain again-
Enough, no more.
‘Tis not so sweet now at it was before!
For
Every fair from fair sometime declines;
The basest weed outbraves his dignity;
Sometimes too hot the heat of heaven shines.
They that have the power to hurt and will do none
Are the lords and owners of their faces.
Thy potent poison quite o'ercrows my spirit,
Thou snake in the grass!
I die, my broken heart a testimony to thy success.
