“It is an inevitable outcome,” said Death
“But why!” shrieked Life.
Death whispered, “It is an outcome you can not cheat.”
Life quelled, “But why so soon!?”
A moment of hesitation.
Anger--an impairment of judgement.
In a cry, Life madly bellowed,
“Tell me why it has to end so soon!?”
Time. Memories. Dreams
gone, no recollection, save the sound of one voice--
Death solemnly murmured,
“Your time has come…”
